Palisades Cabin

Namesake :

Named after the cliffed coast of the Split Rock Wilderness Area rising well over 100 feet above the lake, this cabin holds a special place in our hearts (we’ve dubbed it the “bridal suite” because of this!). Likely the best location on the property to hold your morning coffee will be on the private deck of the Palisades Cabin facing the sunrise. Looking for a better view? Grab a kayak and paddle north along the shoreline to view the magnificent cliffs, mottled with indigenous gray curly lichen (that has been growing for well over 100 years!). The Palisades are also a great spot for bird watching as they are a nesting ground for turkey vultures, American bald eagles, osprey and peregrine falcons.
