Sisco Cabin

Namesake :

As a neighboring unit to the base of the still standing Sisco Furnace, this cabin was easy to name! The Sisco Blast furnace was named for the farm on which it was erected, operated from 1847 to 1895. It illuminated the bay each night while producing up to nine tons of pig iron (bars of pure iron used in manufacturing) through a continuous blast. This unit’s private deck has great views of not only the bay but this towering structure.
